Introduction
The Placement Cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for Under Graduates and Post Graduates passing out from the college by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The Placement Cell operates round the year to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. The number of students placed through the campus interviews is continuously rising. On invitation, many reputed industries visit the institute to conduct interviews.
In the context of Globalization, the students of KSS Vijayanagar College Of Education, Hubballi, Karnataka must be capable of grabbing career opportunities available across the world soon after B.Ed graduation. With this intent, KSS Vijayanagar College Of Education, Hubballi, established Placement Cells in the college.
Placement cell plans various Programmes to be organized thought-out the Academic Year. Through these Placement Cell, Circulars regarding various Competitive Exams and Jobs Fairs are being issued by the Central/state govt are circulated as and when needed.
Objectives of Placement Cell
- To Assist students develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions
- To Assist students develop and implement successful job search strategies.
- To Work with faculty members, Heads and administration to integrate career planning and academic curriculum as well as coordinate Project Work/ Summer Training/internship programs.

- To Serve the community by providing access to our campus wide activities & career resources.
- To Empower students with life-long career decision-making skills.
- To Provide resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
- Up gradation of the students communication skills and personality development by inviting experts from outside for seminars/classes.
- To Assist our students in obtaining final placement in reputed schools.

Activities of Placement Cell Vijayanagar College Of Education, Hubli in association with shri Vivekanand English Medium High School conducted interview for High School teachers in various subjects on 26-2-2022. Shri Ravi B Dandin, Secretary of the institute, Dr Rajkumar S Patil, Placement officer KSS VCEH and Dr P S Hegadi were conducted the interview.
